Course Reflection

     
       
        Hi everyone, I hope all of you have a nice day.

        Time files, this semester just gone! I am so glad to meet all of you. I love this course so much, because I love Pop Culture.

        In this course, I learned lots of things about Pop Culture, and it is really fun. I learned about what is Pop Culture, where is the different between Pop Culture and the tradition. Also, I learned about movie and music.

        In unit of movie, I learned about movie genre, this part is about how we definition for a movie, like why this movie is classify as a horror movie. Then, we talk about the history of cinema, the first star in the world, the big six film making studio, and the history of Oscars and Hollywood. I just recognized  that the first movie had no sound and no colour. Also, I learned why we need horror movie so badly, after reading the article of “Why we crave horror movie”, I realized that everyone is metal illness, sometimes we just want to fight against the nightmare, to show that we are not afraid. 

        In unit if music, we have shared our pinboard music. I really love this activity, because I can know more about my schoolmates and different types of music in different culture.

        Finally, I want to say thanks to all of you. Pop Culture always around us. Although this courses is ended, but we still need to learnt it, because Pop Culture is changing in every second.

Fads in 1960s

This product is famous in 60s, is this Balsa Wood Airplanes. This product is made by wood and this is a toy for kids in 60s. This product needed to do it yourself, which mean you need to create the airplanes by using the balsa wood, and glue them up, then you have a wooden airplanes, it is similar to paper airplanes but the wooden one would fly better.
