Reflection of Unit 4


         

         Unit 4 is about music. In this unit, I learned about music genre, pop music, and blues history. Music is the most important part of Pop-culture, because music has different genre and included different languages. Nowadays, music become a part of our life. Also, music can slow different countries culture, which type of music their citizens would like to listen. I love listening to music, because music can help me to relax, and some of them can help to get out of bad emotion. Then, through the music pinboard, I can know more about different countries pop music, which type of music my schoolmate love to listen, and I have shared my favorite music.
          My aha moment is about the article “Same Old Song”, because I didn’t realize that different generation have different music taste, which mean the elder doesn’t like youth’s music taste. Some elder might think young people music included too much sex and violence which is fighting against to their mind, they afraid pop music will affect their mind, therefore why pop music offensive to some adults.
        I didn’t know that why pop music sounds the same, until I read the article. I realize that pop music is exactly have same sounds when I go thought the music I have heard. I was so surprised, because I never realize it, but after I read the article, I might understand why. Because I think pop music is kind of a brainwash, some audio company will play the top music repeatedly in public area. Also, the music company have considered their marketing, therefore they want the music producer to make their music more similar.

This product is famous in 60s, is this Balsa Wood Airplanes. This product is made by wood and this is a toy for kids in 60s. This product needed to do it yourself, which mean you need to create the airplanes by using the balsa wood, and glue them up, then you have a wooden airplanes, it is similar to paper airplanes but the wooden one would fly better.
